Privacy Policy
This page explains what information VampireStewGames.com collects, how it is used, and how to contact us with privacy questions.

Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as an email address when you join the newsletter or send a message. If you contact us by email, your message and email address are used to respond to you.
The site also records basic website events, such as page views, gallery interactions, contact link clicks, store-link clicks, review activity, and newsletter interactions. These events may include technical details such as the page URL, referrer, browser user agent, approximate time, and a generated visitor identifier.
Demo beta access and feedback
We store beta invitation labels, redemption counts and expiry dates, session records, survey answers and optional comments. If you supply them, we also store your optional name and email, your explicit Carden-updates choice, and its capture time and source. Feedback is associated with your invitation and is not anonymous. When a demo download is served, we associate its build, version and platform with your beta session and subsequent feedback; this does not establish whether you played it.
Invitation codes and session tokens are stored as hashes. A secure, essential session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days, subject to your invitation expiry or revocation. Temporary hashed address-based counters help prevent abuse and expire within an hour. Feedback is accessible through the studio’s protected admin tools and is used to improve Carden. Feedback is not required to download the demo. No feedback email notification is currently sent. Your email is used for Carden updates only if you tick the separate updates box; providing an email alone does not opt you in. This form records your interest privately and does not automatically enroll you with a mailing provider or send email.
Please avoid including private information in comments. Contact vampirestewgames@gmail.com with questions or requests concerning your beta feedback.
How we use information
- To provide website features, game links, screenshots, and updates.
- To understand daily visitors, store-link clicks, and which site sections are useful.
- To separate public activity from internal testing where possible.
- To send newsletter updates if you sign up.
- To respond to support, feedback, bug reports, or game requests.
- To protect, maintain, and improve Vampire Stew Games and VampireStewGames.com.
Cookies and local storage
VampireStewGames.com may use cookies or local storage to remember a generated visitor ID, mark internal testing traffic for the admin dashboard, and help measure site activity. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, though some analytics and admin separation may be less accurate.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. The website is hosted with Cloudflare, and site data may be processed through Cloudflare services used for hosting, storage, analytics events, media, and form/API handling.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the site, or to respond to security, fraud, or abuse issues.
Game links and website data
Clicking a game, trailer, store, support, or newsletter link may create a website event so we can understand what visitors use. The website does not automatically receive saved games, local files, or device data unless you intentionally send that information to us.
Games and third-party stores
Vampire Stew Games may link to game pages on third-party stores such as Steam. Store pages, purchases, wishlists, reviews, and platform accounts are handled by those third-party services under their own policies.
If you email support with screenshots, saves, logs, bug reports, or project details, that information is used to troubleshoot your request and improve the games or website.
Data retention
We keep website analytics, newsletter entries, reviews, and support messages for as long as they are useful for operating the site, understanding interest, improving the games, or meeting legal and security needs.
Your choices
You can contact us to ask about privacy, request newsletter removal, or ask for information you previously provided to be deleted where practical. You can also disable cookies or clear local site data in your browser.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, analytics, games, or store links change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
